The HLI has acquired a new EVOS M5000 fluorescent microscope, a new shared microscope that will be located on the 2nd floor for fluorescent cellular and tissue imaging. Daniel Giardiana from Thermofisher will be offering an online orientation and training session for our facility for this microscope on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at 11:00 AM. The training will consist of a short presentation that covers the basics of microscopy and the M5000, followed by a live demonstration of image acquisition and analysis. If you are interested in using this microscope, you are strongly encouraged to attend.
