We are happy to inform everyone that the microCT scanner is fully operational again. After almost 8 months of repair attempts with multiple service technicians, we finally found the underlying problem. With COVID restrictions easing up, Nikon was able to send an expert that identified multiple issues and he replaced parts worth more than $100,000.
We have quite a backlog of scanning to overcome, but are happy to discuss new projects, so that we can plan future scanning. Please contact either Dragos or Aaron with any questions and what you might be interested in scanning.
