HLI Front Office Closed Today Due To Weather – December 20, 2022

Due to a heavy snowfall overnight, the front office (room 166) will be closed today.

FEDEX has cancelled pickups for today, other couriers may do the same, we don’t recommend sending anything perishable out this week.

If there are any courier deliveries, instructions have been left on the front office door to call a number or they ring the front double door doorbell on first floor of McDonald. If you work in that area, please answer the ring and you can leave packages in the JHCC (Gourlay) if they are NON PERISHABLE. For perishable packages please see if you can contact the receiving lab or store it in an available fridge until Wed.

Dry ice deliveries (if made) will be dropped off by the front office door, so if you are expecting a delivery check the hallway every hour this morning. For HLI members who do not need to come in today, please stay home. For staff who must perform essential procedures or services, please contact your manager, come in when able and leave when completed.

We will assess whether the front office will open tomorrow by 8 am and send a message out accordingly.
