HR Updates – 2022

The snow has been challenging these past few days and has kept some of us from making it into work. If you have chosen to stay home due to concerns of safety or family responsibilities you must communicate this decision as soon as possible to your supervisor. Employees who chose to stay home will be given the following options:

  • Work remotely, if feasible and at the discretion and prior approval of the manager
  • Using a day of your annual vacation entitlement – This must be entered into WorkDay
  • Making up the time with approval for manager

Vacation

Please ensure you have entered all of your 2022 vacation into Workday. All vacation and time off must be approved by your PI or supervisor. Please remember you are only allowed to carry over 10 days into 2023. Any additional carry over will not be available to use in 2023. If you have any questions please reach out to Chris or Kelly.

Office Closure

The HLI will be closed from December 22, 2022 – January 2, 2023. If you have work to do during the holiday closure week, please schedule this with your manager and ensure you follow working alone procedures.
