Congratulations to the Bruce McManus Cardiovascular Biobank (BMCB) Team for being the HLI Team Player of the Quarter (June 2023). They are Gurpreet Singhera, Coco Ng, Wendy Liang, and Tiffany Chang.

- This group is made up of staff and students who need to efficiently multitask to meet the needs of different research projects. Their work includes patient consenting, archiving about 50 different types of samples, coordinating with different sample users as well as three Departments at SPH, and increasing the visibility of cardiovascular research at the HLI.
- They are still learning to be experts but are committed to handling the numerous details behind the scenes to support many stakeholders.
- Members of this team are often required to be on call at all hours of the day or night to ensure tissue samples are picked up and processed in a timely manner.
