Do you feel like drowning under a list of things to write?
Are you overwhelmed because you can not concentrate and can’t seem to be able to find motivation and inspiration?
Come write with us and explore some strategies that may help you, feel connected and accountable, get help or help colleagues in this structured Pomodoro writing group event while body doubling.
Pomodoro Technique is a time management method that utilizes fixed time intervals for focused work followed by short breaks to increase concentration. https://www.pomodorotechnique.com/
Body doubling or parallel working is a strategy used to initiate & complete tasks that are potentially frustrating by having another person work alongside you. While body doubling has been proven to be particularly useful for people with ADHD as it addresses the executive dysfunction experienced by many with ADHD, it has been a great tool for people doing remote work and have been adapted by many that struggle with modern overstimulation or people who benefit from a sense of social responsibility in the form of accountability.
