An internal review of the UBC James Hogg Research Centre will be conducted on November 15th & 16th, 2022. The Internal Review Committee is as following:
- Dr. Leonard Foster (Chair), Professor and Head, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
- Dr. Pamela Hoodless, Professor, Department of Medical Genetics and the School of Biomedical Engineering, Director & Distinguished Scientist, Terry Fox Laboratory, BC Cancer
- Dr. Bruce Verchere, Professor in the Departments of Pathology & Laboratory Medicine and Surgery, and Director, Centre for Molecular Medicine and Therapeutics
This review provides an opportunity for the unit to reflect on its programs, operations and leadership. The review also provides input into the key areas of focus over the next five years and assists with long-range planning. Input from the unit’s faculty, staff and students is highly valued in this process.
