Dear Centre Principal Investigators and Managers,
The Centre for Heart Lung Innovation (HLI) will be implementing a hiring suspension of any new research employees effective, March 18, 2020.
At this time we may also need to consider whether or not our annual Summer Student Program will be able to go ahead if things continue to escalate.
Given the current circumstances, we will be constantly evaluating the likelihood of the Summer Student Program being able to continue. We hope to have a decision on this program in the next few weeks to allow time to notify all students in the program.
We will keep you updated with announcements as we receive them and understand the impact this is having on everyone.
