Mission
The Centre for Heart Lung Innovation Equity Diversity and Inclusion Committee defines and implements educational programs to empower minority members within HLI and enhance the recruitment and retention of diverse researchers.
Vision
We create initiatives to establish lasting meaningful change to make the academic workplace environment more equitable, diverse, and inclusive for faculty, staff, and students at HLI.

Focus
The HLI EDI Committee is a volunteer led committee that aims to provide education and increase awareness around EDI related issues by providing resources, direction and guidance on EDI policies, and by organizing events and workshops mainly focusing on issues faced by equity deserving groups.
